HOW TO CREATE A
PERSONAL WIKI WITH MAC OS X

Personal Wikis are collections of notes and informations linked together.
This tutorial shows you how to create your own the Mac way in 3 easy steps.

For all these tutorials we suggest using Thoughts for Mac OS X.

To install it, mount the dmg file, accept the license agreements and drag the Thoughts icon to your Applications folder.

Click on "NewBook" in the shelf window click on the title to name it. Doule click to open it. Now click on the plus button to add a new page and name it. Do this again for adding other pages. To create a link from one page to another, just drag the from the Pages list to the desired page. Click on Links > Link to Files or Link to web to create links to your documents or your webpages. Use the right and left arrow key to go backwards or forwards in the Page history of Thoughts. Type a searchphrase into the searchfield to search for it. That’s it. You’ve just created your personal Wiki, congratulations!
